Graphs and Prediction

Students will be presented with the concept of part-to-whole relationships.

4) Now quantify & make visual representations of the 2 predictions (set free or not). Give e/student an index card. E/student writes their prediction (#1 or #2). Collect all cards & make a graph showing

5) Using the same story (poem) now look at application of pie or circle graphs. Place students in groups of 4. E/group gets a circle graph w/4 wedges (pizza slices).

Each circle graph represents 1 whole group, so we have 1 group.
